We came because they're known for their pancakes but tbh I thought the pancakes was mid. It was a little burnt and it took 30 mins for them to get the pancake to us. The best food was the pork belly rice bowl and sandwich! The mustard was a great compliment to the chicken and bread. Def not worth it for the pancakes but the rest of the food options were really good. I like the outdoor space very vibey and gave off bohemian vibes. Price point was pretty standard. More on the pricier side but still affordable.

I've been wanting to try this place because of the hype and I got to say it definitely lived up to it. The pancakes were the star of the show and were super fluffy and not too sweet. Also the fluffy center with the crusted side made it the perfect pancake. The portion was surprisingly pretty big so it can feed up to 2 people. Also, I got the gyudon which at first glance it looks like a regular gyudon. I have this say this gyudon was super flavorful and juicy. The rice was soaked with beef fat and juice giving it a umami taste. This was one of the best gyudon I've had in nyc. I would say the only downside was that this place is usually very packed esp on the weekends and hard to get a table without an rsvp. Also, the food is priced a bit more on expensive side.

Pretty good overall but did not blow my mind. The egg sando had a very good silky texture that I enjoyed a lot and is different from other places. The hyped pancake was good but not my preferred style - more cakey than pancakey. There's so much outdoor seating and it's very cute so a good place for a group I think. Kind of expensive for what it is but good.

Stopped for brunch a few weeks back and I am still thinking about how yummy it was. Favs: brussels, pancakes and gyu don dish.Lebowski-San cocktail was really unique! Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Communal seating is hit or miss for me but everything else was so together it barely bothered me.

The ambiance at this place is so nice with open space design converted from what seemed like a storage warehouse before. They have a wide selection of Japanese liquor. We got the: Katsu Sando Summer squash mazemen Pork belly rice bowl with miso soup The katsu sando portion was huge! The waitress had recommended ordering family style but we just wanted to get our own dishes and take bites of each other's food. The sandwich was good but I don't think it's any more special than any other katsu sando you get elsewhere. It's a pretty hard dish to mess up. I got the mazemen and it was so delicious! It reminded me of cold sesame noodle but this one was flavored with yuzu vinaigrette. It's the perfect dish for the summer - very refreshing. The recommendation is to mix the noodle bowl first before diving in. I didn't try the pork dish but my friend was a bit turned off by the ratio of the pork belly fat vs the pork meat. It could get a bit overwhelming eating the entire pork belly dish by yourself as the portion size is also fairly generous.

Soufflé pancake is SO soft and yummy, especially when it's warm. Try to finish before it cools down! The flavored butter makes it a bit more special too. Gyudon donburi was so flavorful! Great for those who want something savory. Salad had the most delicious yuzu vinegarette -- wish they sold a bottle separately! Such a refreshing summer choice! Potatoes were also a good savory dish with lots of umami from the miso. A bit salty imo.. Mizamen? The noodles were fresh since they were cold and the ricotta with the squash was super tasty and unique with the noodles! Did not taste fruit sando but was told it was good. Looked a little small for $12... Shared everything with 5 people and we were pretty full by the end! Portioning seems to be decent

A bright, airy spot tucked into the heart of Williamsburg serving up delicious Japanese eats -- the ambiance here is really beautiful, with minimal wooden features and lots of seating. We stopped in for a weekend brunch and it was easy to get a reservation -- recommend getting things to share, since the portions are decently large. My clear standout was the Souffle Pancake -- worth the hype, highly recommend getting the side of soft serve to go with it. It was so light and airy! By the time we arrived, they had run out of the Tamago Sando, so I opted for the Fish Sando instead. While it was a large portion, I'm not super used to the texture of skate so I'm not sure if I'd get it again. The Hojicha tea was yummy, bonus points for the adorable teacup. I'd be interested in coming back and exploring the dinner menu, too!

I came here for brunch and while I can see that there are smaller portions for certain items, the three dishes my friend and I shared were a decent portion and delicious! I had an indoor reservation for 1:30PM but we were able to be seated outside on a beautiful day. We shared: Hiyashi mazemen (5/5) it was some cold noodles with a squash blossom, half a jammy egg, and some veggies sitting on top of some delicious yuzu ricotta. We were told to mix everything together to combine the flavors. The smallest of the dishes we shared but not lacking in flavor! Our waiter was visibly excited to hear we were ordering this dish and we were served the last one of the day! Fish sando (5/5) an amazing crisp, the only thing i hated was that the bottom bun got soggy pretty quickly. LARGE piece of fish! Soufflé pancake (5/5) I was so worried I wouldn't like this since I'm not a huge pancake person but this was fluffy and delicious and a little custard-y! It did come out about 10 mins after our other dishes. Don't get the cold brew. The glass was 1/2 ice and it was $7.50 for a ridiculously small amount of not great coffee. Would come back in a heartbeat!
